iscsi login fail to Purestorage resulting OpenShift Pods into crashloopback error: input/output error

Issue

  • Host fails to login to storage with below error in server log file
Xhostabcd iscsid: Kernel reported iSCSI connection 5:0 error (1020 - ISCSI_ERR_TCP_CONN_CLOSE: TCP connection closed) state (1)
Xhostabcd kernel: [7661556.633561]  connection6:0: detected conn error (1020)
Xhostabcd kernel: [7661556.634866]  connection5:0: detected conn error (1020)
Xhostabcd iscsid: conn 0 login rejected: initiator failed authorization with target
Xhostabcd iscsid: conn 0 login rejected: initiator failed authorization with target
  • multipath -ll output shows stall devices like below:
