Issue

  • My manual edits to /etc/yum.repos.d/redhat.repo are overwritten, how can I stop that from happening?
  • My changes to /etc/yum.repos.d/redhat.repo using yum-config-manager are overwritten, how can I stop that from happening?
  • What tools should be used to enable/disable repositories during the RHEL 8 Beta?
  • What command should be run to ensure enabled repositories are visible?
  • Is there any alternative that would allow me to manually edit the /etc/yum.repos.d/redhat.repo file?
