- Red Hat JBoss Portal Platform (JPP)
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
- Is JBoss EAP support included with a JBoss Portal Platform subscription?
- Can I run non portal applications on JBoss Portal Platform?
Each JPP release is layered on a specific JBoss EAP version. See the "Java EE container" table on the JBoss Portal Platform Supported Configurations page.
The underlying EAP version is supported as long as the support request is in the context of JPP, i.e. causing an issue in the use of JPP. EAP use cases which are outside the context of JPP would not be supported under the JPP subscription.
For example, a portlet deployed as a war would be supported; however, a plain web application deployed as a war would not be supported.
