- Problem is observed after upgrade to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.9
- Getting black screen with a frozen mouse pointer on screen

- Switching runlevel from 5 to 3
- Hitting
Ctrl-Alt-Backspace
to kill X session - Shoutdown or Reboot of system from GUI mode
