Using inittab to start or stop a service
Issue
- The following entries to /etc/inittab are added to start some services:
h4:35:once:/etc/init.d/listenersd start
h5:35:once:/etc/init.d/ehubd start
h6:35:once:/etc/init.d/ccad start
- And top of inittab file :
a1:01246:once:/etc/init.d/ccad stop
a2:01246:once:/etc/init.d/ehubd stop
a3:01246:once:/etc/init.d/listenersd stop
- The services start normally but they do not stop when the system is rebooted or halted
