Issue

  • unix2dos not working for mounted NFS filesystem
  • unix2dos can't open output temp file: Permission denied
    open("./u2dtmpmGi6Ye", O_RDWR|O_CREAT|O_EXCL, 0600) = -1 EACCES (Permission denied)
    
  • Unable to create files with the permission 0600 on a NetApp NFS share

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4, 5, 6
  • NetApp filer, qtree in NTFS (Windows mode)
  • chmod, syscall open(..|O_EXCL|O_CREAT, 0600)
  • unix2dos
