How can I change an internal kernel variable for debugging purpose in Red Hat Enterprise Linux?
Issue
I would like to set the "jiffies" variable in the kernel to an arbitrary value at run-time. Using crash(8) doesn't work as the "wr" command fails with "cannot write to /dev/crash!".
