Issue
- oscap scan fails with the following error message:
# oscap oval eval --id oval:com.redhat.rhsa:tst:20130690002 com.redhat.rhsa-all.xml
OpenSCAP Error: No definition with ID: oval:com.redhat.rhsa:tst:20130690002 in definition model. [oval_probe.c:480]
Resolution
- use the
--oval-idoption, instead of--id, to specify the component ref with the given ID from the checks:
# oscap oval eval --oval-id oval:com.redhat.rhsa:tst:20130690002 com.redhat.rhsa-all.xml
