System with RAID10 type LVM volumes fails to boot.

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • System hangs / crashes on boot after upgrading to kernel-3.10.0-862.6.3.el7 and having RAID10 type LVM volumes.
  • Creating RAID10 type LVM volumes does not work. Actions on such LVM volumes like creating filesystem crashes the system OR gives error similar to bio too big device dm-38 (70144 > 65535).
