Kibana does not receive logs from an application after pods restarts

Issue

  • A couple of applications are facing this problem
  • These application restart their pods daily at 04:00 CET
  • After the restart, there are no logs in Kibana for these pods
  • Kibana receives the pod logs just after restarting them a couple of times
