Installation failed on task "Control plane pods didn't come up" for Openshift Container Platform 3

Issue

  • The deploy playbook fails on the following message:

     Play:     Configure masters
 Task:     Report control plane errors
 Message:  Control plane pods didn't come up

  • At the Master controller pod logs it shows:

    Invalid MasterConfig /etc/origin/master/master-config.yaml
  oauthConfig.identityProvider[0].provider.ca: Invalid value: "/etc/origin/master/LDAP_ldap_ca.crt": could not read file: stat /etc/origin/master/LDAP_ldap_ca.crt: no such file or directory

  • Red Hat Openshift Container Platform (OCP) 3.10.45 and later
