How can VLAN tagged interfaces be configured for Jumbo Frames with nmcli?
Issue
- I'm not able to configure the MTU to 9000 on the VLAN tagged device. We have tried to add it to the VLAN device via
nmcliandipbut none are successful:
# ip a
4: ens10: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state UP qlen 1000
link/ether 52:54:00:1e:8c:64 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
6: ens10.100@ens10: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state UP qlen 1000
link/ether 52:54:00:1e:8c:64 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
inet 192.168.200.111/24 brd 192.168.200.255 scope global noprefixroute ens10.100
valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever
inet6 fe80::5054:ff:fe1e:8c64/64 scope link

# nmcli con show ens10.100 | grep mtu
802-3-ethernet.mtu: 9000
