How can VLAN tagged interfaces be configured for Jumbo Frames with nmcli?

Issue

  • I'm not able to configure the MTU to 9000 on the VLAN tagged device. We have tried to add it to the VLAN device via nmcli and ip but none are successful:
# ip a
4: ens10: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast state UP qlen 1000
    link/ether 52:54:00:1e:8c:64 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
6: ens10.100@ens10: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc noqueue state UP qlen 1000
    link/ether 52:54:00:1e:8c:64 brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff
