Why am I getting permission errors when trying to connect a NFS share to RHV

Issue

  • Server is exporting an NFS share. User is able to connect to it manually but is unable to connect to it via RHV.

  • Error seen:

    StorageServerAccessPermissionError: Permission settings on the specified path do not allow access to the storage. 
Verify permission settings on the specified storage path.

  • Red Hat Virtualization 4.x
