A Generated NMI Using the NMI Button or Virtual NMI Button From Integrated Lights-Out 3 (ILO 3) Does Not Initiate Kdump

On an HP ProLiant server running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5, when attempting to generate an NMI using the NMI button or the Virtual NMI button from the Integrated Lights-Out 3 (iLO 3), kdump does not initiate and the following message is displayed:
kernel: NMI: IOCK error (debug interrupt?)
