Red Hat Insights client leaves empty temporary directories

Issue

  • When insights client times out or otherwise doesn't correctly exit, it might create empty temporary directories in /var/tmp consuming.
    For example:

    # ls -lrt /var/tmp | grep root
    drwx------. 2 root     root     4096 Apr 23 10:08 Ga3ak6
    drwxr-xr-x. 2 root     root     4096 May 15 13:56 cnvbdP
    drwx------. 2 root     root     4096 May 29 11:12 tfUJmn
