Why KVM/RHEV guests fail to recognize new virtio disks after hotplugging?
Issue
- KVM guest fails to detect the new virtio disk after it was successfully hotplugged from virt-manager or via virsh-attach.
- How can I make the KVM guest detect a disk without rebooting it?
- We cannot hot-add a LUN disk to a VM in RHEV
- Hot plugged Virtual Machine disk doesn´t show up in guest
