httpd fails to start due to syntax error saying "No comments are allowed here"
Issue
- We recently updated. httpd now fails to start due to a syntax error:
Starting httpd: Syntax error on line 15 of /etc/httpd/conf/myconf.conf:
No comments are allowed here
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6.x
- Apache httpd 2.2.15
