Changing the SSH login prompt

Issue

  • I want to change the Secure Shell (SSH) login prompt users see when connecting to a remote host using the OpenSSH client. For example, instead of 'user@testsystem's password: ' we'd like to have 'user@testsystem's AD password:'.
