Not able to configure NFSv4/GSSproxy with it's ccache in /tmp

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • We are not able to mount Kerberized NFS share if the Kerberos ticket granting ticket, TGT, is stored under /tmp or any other directory
  • The Kerberized NFS share can be accessed if the Kerberos TGT is stored in the kernel keyring

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7
  • NFSv4
  • gssproxy
  • Kerberos
