Module mvfs causes kernel panics after kernel upgrade
Issue
- System panics after boot up following a kernel upgrade.
BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at (null)observed.- The stack dumps from the panic on boot show that the 3rd party module
mvfsis being called.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6
- IBM mvfs module installed
