Cannot Start X-Windows
Issue
Preparing two RHEL 6 virtual machines for installation of Oracle database/RAC.
yum groupinstall x11
Rebooted and then logged in by VMWare console
"startx" command did not work.
Tried setting runlevel to 5 in /etc/inittab and rebooting, but it hung and did not start the graphical desktop.
Environment
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6
