  • While using RHEL 7.2, lspci -vv command output shows CESta:RxErr+ bit set for MegaRAID SAS controller.

The same command output shows CESta:RxErr- while using kernel-3.10.0-514 and later.

  • Why does the information of raid displayed in lspci show RxErr+ instead of the normal RxErr- while using RHEL 7.2?
    Does CESta:RxErr+ indicate any issue?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.2
  • LSI Logic / Symbios Logic MegaRAID SAS-3 3108 adapter.
