Issue

  • Performing 'mv' operation on NFS filesystem to move the files on XFS filesystem results in below error message:
mv: setting attribute `system.nfs4_acl' for `system.nfs4_acl': Invalid argument

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4
  • NFS server with version 4
  • NFS client mounting the share and trying to copy/move files from NFS share to a partition which has xfs filesystem.
