Getting "permission denied" error while accessing cifs share.

Issue

  • Accessing CIFS share is giving error permission denied due to mount uses old cached credentials even after file change.
  • Share can be seen mounted as below, however listing contents is giving error "permission denied".
#grep -i cifs /proc/mounts
//hosta/Public/Beta Street/Business Services cifs   7.2T   6.6T   605G  92% /int-interfaces/ABC/XP2 

#cd Reporting/
#ls -la
ls: reading directory .: Permission denied
total 0
