openstack limits command report zero number of floating ip(s) used

Issue

  • It looks like that the output of the below command reports a wrong number of real Floating IP used by a specific project compared to the one effectively in use by the running VMs tied to this project

    $ openstack limits show --absolute --project marvel_test | grep -i float
| totalFloatingIpsUsed     |     0 |
| maxTotalFloatingIps      |    10 |

  • Red Hat OpenStack Platform 12.0
