Issue

My server.log did not rotate in a 24 hour period ¹.

The problem is, we have a application server having JBOSS enterprise running 6.1.0.GA and we have configured for the log to rotate periodically from JBOSS admin GUI but it is not happening. Rather all the logs are being written in a single file which is creating problem for us in terms of processing and disk space.

The 24 hour period is the default configuration, and it is actually intended to rotate at midnight. ↩
