biosdevname - Ignore naming of non-Ethernet network interfaces

Issue

  • biosdevname is exits with return code of 2 when query Infiniband device.

    # rpm -q biosdevname
biosdevname-0.7.3-1.el7.x86_64

# biosdevname -i ib0 ; echo $?
2

  • biosdevname is no longer showing names of Infiniband devices.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7
  • biosdevname-0.7.2-2.el7 (or newer)
