Using switch-user option in RHEL7.4 causes session logout, and gives blank screen

Issue

• Switching users in a GNOME session is launching a new X server for the user, and user logout is rendering it unusable.
• User is unable to access system after logout from GUI session.
• Frozen screen when user logout from GNOME or tries to switch user.
• When user logout or try to switch user, screen displays some services. But, then user cannot input with keyboard.
