Does Red Hat Certificate System's Transaction Processing System support client authentication when connecting to the other services?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

Does Red Hat Certificate System (RHCS) 's Transaction Processing System (TPS) support client authentication when connecting with SSL to the other Red Hat Certificate System services or sub systems?

If so, how do the other services know this is the TPS and assign the applicable permissions versus any certificate that might be trusted?

Does this TPS certificate need to be registered within the agent of each of the subsystems like we do for TPS agents and the Key Recovery and Authority (KRA) or Data Recovery Manager (DRM)?

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5
  • Red Hat Directory Server 8.1
  • Red Hat Certificate System 8.0
