Supermicro X8DTU-F System Crashes Intermittantly on RHEL 6.2
Issue
- After a fresh install of RHEL 6.2 to this system, we started receiving panics with the following errors:
[Firmware Bug] : the BIOS has corrupted hw-PMU resources (MSR 186 is 53003c
APEI : Can not request iomem region <00000000bf7b670a-00000000bf7b670c> for GARs
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Version 6
- kernel-2.6.32-220.el6.x86_64
- Supermicro X8DTU-F
