What are the steps required to make flock commands work in AMQ broker running over GlusterFS?

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

The AMQ broker code requires the use of the flock command to set file locking. Unfortunately, the FUSE handler code does not register for interrupts, so they are not processed at all, which prevents the flock utility to work as expected. To make the flock command useful in this scenario, a workaround needs to be implemented in AMQ code.
