PDF documents printed by CUPS in RHEL 7 are smaller than in RHEL 6

Solution Verified - Updated -

Issue

  • The printed area in the page printed by RHEL 7 occupies a smaller area than the printed are in a page printed by RHEL 6.
  • One server is running RHEL 6 and another server is running RHEL 7. When we print a PDF in RHEL 6 the printout is good, but when we print the same PDF in RHEL 7 using a queue with the same PPD and printer as RHEL 6, the printout is "sqeezed."

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 7
  • Common Unix Printing System (CUPS) 1.6.3
