Refresh/Upload manifest or External Capsule sync from Red Hat Satellite 6 fails with error Couldn't find SmartProxy with 'id'=ID [WHERE (smart_proxies.id IN (N))]
Environment
- Red Hat Satellite 6.
- Red Hat Satellite Capsule.
Issue
Refresh/Upload manifestfails with below error:
There was an issue with the backend service pulp: Couldn't find SmartProxy with 'id'=ID [WHERE (smart_proxies.id IN (2))]
- Red Hat Satellite Capsule sync fails the same error.
Resolution
- Assign the
Red Hat Satellite Capsuleto its corresponding Organization\Location by following the below steps:
Administer > Organizations > Select desired Organization > Capsules > select Satellite Server as well as the Capsule server(move from left to right).
Administer > Locations > Select desired Location > Capsules > select Satellite Server as well as the Capsule server(move from left to right).
