cloud-init is not installed on RedHat AMI's

Issue

  • we just got access to the private RH AMI's to use in AWS and deployed our first server and realized that our automation is not working because we depend on cloud-init to do some post work.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6
  • RHEL 6 Amazon Machine Images (AMI)
