[RHEL5.5 beta] Installer stalls when using driver disk.

Issue

  • When installing RHEL5.5 beta on a server  connected to USB-FDD, the installer stalls when answering 'Yes' to  the question 'Do you have a
      driver disk?'.

  • This problem  does not occur on RHEL5.4, and is a regression.

  •   Both x86 and x86_64  have this problem.

  • This issue also occurs

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5 beta /RHEL5.5  Snapshot2
  • kernel-2.6.18-189.el5 / kernel-2.6.18-186.el5
