Receiving kerberos error using keytab file for a specific user

Issue

  • When trying to use keyint for a specific user with a keytab file kinit <user@domain> -k -t <keytab file> I receive the following error:
kinit(v5): Key table entry not found while getting initial credentials

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5.6
