Install of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.3/5.4 x86_64/ia64 can hang on very large configuration machines
Issue
When installing RHEL5.3/5.4 x86_64/ia64 on machines with large amounts of memory and large numbers of CPUs the installer can frequently pause waiting for keyboard or mouse input.
