RHV: After upgrading to RHV 4.2 the Virtual Machine CD-ROM device is missing.

Issue

  • Cannot change the CD of Virtual Machine
Error while executing action Change CD: Failed to perform "Change CD" operation, CD might be still in use by the VM.
  • VM does not detect CD
  • VM does not have a CD-ROM drive internally

Environment

  • Red Hat Virtualization 4.2.3
    • Upgraded from Red Hat Virtualization 4.1
