etcdctl is showing all nodes as unhealthy

Issue

  • cluster-health consistently returns unhealthy results from all nodes similar to:
# etcdctl --endpoints=https://`hostname`.xxx.com:nnnn --cert-file=/etc/etcd/peer.crt --key-file=/etc/etcd/peer.key --ca-file=/etc/etcd/ca.crt cluster-health

member <id> is unhealthy: got unhealthy result from https://<ip>:<port>

member <id> is unhealthy: got unhealthy result from https://<ip>:<port>

member <id> is unhealthy: got unhealthy result from https://<ip>:<port>
