  • Server fails to install/boot with errors PAGE_TAB_HARDWARE_ERROR.
  • Example error:
AMD-Vi: Event logged [PAGE_TAB_HARDWARE_ERROR device=c1:00.0 domain=0x0018 address=0x000001007fe41ff8 flags=0x0200]

Environment

  • RHEL 7.5 and above.
  • AMD Naples based platform
  • Greater than or equal to 1TB RAM
