Unable to mount gfs volume with clvmd throwing error:"Can't initialise cluster interface" in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5

Issue

  • Unable to mount GFS volume in the node as clvmd is not running and is throwing the following error:

    [root@test029~]# clvmd -d
    CLVMD[1cffe820]: Jun 28 11:06:32 CLVMD started 
    CLVMD[1cffe820]: Jun 28 11:06:32 Connected to CMAN 
    CLVMD[1cffe820]: Jun 28 11:06:32 CMAN initialisation complete 
    CLVMD[1cffe820]: Jun 28 11:06:32 Can't initialise cluster interface

  • GFS2
  • clvmd
