Cannot bring eth3 up "eth3: unknown interface: No such device"
Issue
- We needed to remove eth3 from a bond and ran
echo "0000:52:00.2" > /sys/bus/pci/drivers/qlcnic/unbind. This seemed to remove eth3 from the kernel, but we've been unable to add the NIC back to the system.

- Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 5
