Issue

  • copying a file on a GFS2 file system gives an error message 'File exists' instead of 'Permission denied' message in case if a user doesn't have write permission on the destination folder.

Environment

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (with the High Availability Add On and Resilient Storage Add Ons)
  • A Global Filesystem 2(gfs2)
