Does OVS-DPDK support ARP based link monitoring? Is there any alternate solution?
Issue
We noticed, in a recent outage, one of the top rack switches went into the un-responsive state while keeping the layer-1 connection towards compute up.
During this scenario, DPDK slave interface was not moved from Active to standby and caused complete outage (Network unreachable).
To overcome this scenario: Does OVS-DPDK support ARP based link monitoring or is there any alternate solution?
Environment
Red Hat OpenStack Platform 10.
