DNS search domains from resolv.conf are appended to .cluster.local hostnames in OpenShift 3.x and sent to upstream DNS server
Issue
The search domains from the OpenShift node's /etc/resolv.conf are being appended to hostnames ending in .cluster.local. These hostname lookups should not go outside the cluster since SkyDNS always handles .cluster.local domains.
