RHEL7: Connections to domain based DFS share fail for SMB2
Issue
- Mounting domain based DFS shares with SMBv2.x and SMBv3.x fail.
- Shares can be mounted with SMBv1.
Environment
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.5
kernel-3.10.0-862.el7or higher kernel, but beforekernel-3.10.0-957.el7- SMB2
- Domain based DFS share where the Active Directory Domain Controller is not the DFS root.
