Security/Hardening Guide for JBoss EAP 6/7
Environment
- Red Hat JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP)
- 6
- 7
- Post installation and custom configuration
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux RHEL
Issue
- Where can I find the Security documentation
- Are there any recommended guides for security hardening.
Resolution
-
For JBoss EAP 7 Security documents are available in JBoss EAP 7 Security Section.
-
The security guide is part of product documentation from JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 6.1 onwards. In JBoss EAP 6.4 the individual Security Guide that was available earlier, has been deprecated and replaced with a number of related Security documents in a new
Security
section.
Root Cause
Security hardening is something that is very specific to use case, security policies, and organizational goals. There are many checklists available from security organizations. One common goal is to remove services and protocols not being used. For any specific questions, open a support case.
