- How can I perform a
u32match withip6tableson RHEL5? - Trying to match on IPv6 packet contents in RHEL5 results in an error message:
# ip6tables -A INPUT -p tcp -m tcp -m length --length 6:32 -m u32 --u32 "<rule>" -j DROP
ip6tables v1.3.5: Couldn't load match `u32':/lib/iptables/libip6t_u32.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Resolution
- RHEL5's
ip6tablesdoes not have support for theu32match.
If you requireu32matching inip6tables, RHEL6 includes this support.
