Live migration fails with an attached non-bootable Cinder volume

Issue

• When I try to live migrate instances with attached volumes, I see this error and the instance is not migrated:

  Mar 20 11:30:15 overcloud-compute-10.example.com nova-compute: libvirtError: unsupported configuration: Target device drive address 0:0:0 does not match source 0:0:1
