Setting Azure Cloud provider config causes nodes to loose access to cluster

Environment

  • OpenShift Container Platform 3.7

Issue

Nodes disappear from cluster when azure cloud provider config is enabled.

Sometimes immediate, sometimes it takes a while before node cannot join SDN.

Resolution

This is resolved with the following errata

Root Cause

Kubelet can't reach Azure API and marks not as not ready
